What is OCIT?

The Order of Christian Initiation of Teens (OCIT) is a program offered to teens in 8th through 12th grade that are interested in completing sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation. Our program is based on relational ministry by sharing the Truths of the Church through reflective talks, small group discussions, and an enjoyable open dialogue environment. Our goal is to share the joy, depth, and beauty of the Catholic Church through joy filled conversations and personal encounters with God through the Sacraments. Teens participating in OCIT will be fully initiated into the Church at the Easter Vigil each year.

OCIT is hosted on Sundays from 4:30-5:30 pm. If interested reach out to Chris Anderson, Director of Youth Ministry, or Abby Volk, Coordinator of Youth Ministry at youth@saintpeterchurch.net for more information.

For any Sacramental inquiries for students at the age of 7th grade or younger, reach out to Krystal Snyder, Director of Religious Education (PREP) at krystal@saintpeterchurch.net.
