St. Peter Catholic School Scholarship Committee will award up to $600 scholarships to eligible students who will attend the 7th or 8th  grade at an accredited Catholic elementary school, and up to $1,200 scholarships to eligible students who will attend 9th through 12th grades at an accredited Catholic high school during the 2025-2026 school year.

The scholarships are awarded based on financial need and scholarship merit.  All applicants and their families must meet these qualifications.

1.         The applicant must have received notification of admittance to a Diocesan accredited Catholic school for grades 7 through 12 for the academic year 2025-2026.

2.         The applicant must be of good character and have demonstrated average or above scholarship ability.

3.         The parents or guardians of the applicant must be registered members of St. Peter Parish.

If you meet the above qualifications, please fill out the attached application, sign it, and return it with your essay and grades no later than May 11, 2025.  It may be scanned and emailed to kdbraider@gmail.com or dropped off at the Café on Sunday morning May 4th to the committee person in charge.  Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.  A scoring model is utilized to evaluate the data provided and determine eligibility.  The decision of the Scholarship Committee will be final.  All information entrusted to the core committee will be kept confidential.

Scholarships will be announced by letter/email by the end of May. An award ceremony may be scheduled – date will be announced as soon as confirmed.  Checks will be sent directly to the school and applied to each recipient’s tuition no later than mid July.
