Saint Peter Parish welcomes people who are interested in learning more about Jesus and the Catholic faith in a caring community.  Adults and older teens who want to learn about becoming Catholic or find out about receiving sacraments are encouraged to participate.

Is God calling YOU to become a fully initiated member of the Catholic Church?

Perhaps this is the year you will decide to receive the sacraments of the Catholic Church as an adult! Friends of Saint Peter Parish from the age of 16 and up are welcome to find out more about how it works when you or your family member want to join the Catholic Church.

Where

Parish Office

Who

Adults from 16 years of age and up who:
1) were never baptized; OR
2) were baptized in a church other than the Catholic Church; OR
3) were baptized Catholic but never finished Confirmation or maybe even First Communion.

How

A new small group of Adult Faith Formation is forming called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This process helps bring adults of various religious backgrounds, or no particular religious background, into a respectful and friendly process to pray, learn about, and celebrate the genius of the Catholic Faith.

What

Through the discernment of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in your life by means of Catechetical Instruction, Faith Formation, and Christian Relationships with other candidates and the RCIA Team, you can respond to the call and receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) as a member of the Christian Community of the Catholic Church here at Saint Peter Parish.
